TouchTerm's Copy and Paste functionality works by using two Selection Markers, which can be placed on the Terminal display by placing two fingers on the screen. This will place the two Selection Markers at your fingertips, and also display Popup-Zoom views above them, so that you can more easily see exactly where the Selection Markers are being placed.

Placing the Selection Markers
The Selection Markers will remain on the display, in the location from which you lifted your fingers. At this point, you can use finger to drag either of the Selection Markers to a different location. Usually, this is easiest way to adjust the locations of the Selection Markers, instead of trying to place both of them at once with two fingers.
Instead of using two fingers to place the Selection Markers, you can also use Tap Gestures to execute the Place Selection Mark Action, which will place one of the Selection Marks at the Tap location. (By default, this can be done with a Double-Tap and Hold gesture.)
Finally, to hide the Selection Markers, place three fingers on the display; or, use the Hide Selection Marks Action.

Once the Selection Markers are placed, you can copy the selected text to the Clipboard using the Copy action. By default, this Action can be executed with an Upper-Left Corner Tap gesture.
If the Selection Markers span multiple lines, then the Select Across Lines option controls what text gets copied to the Clipboard. When this Option is On, text is copied by proceeding to the right from the first Selection Mark, and wrapping lines, until reaching the end Marker. When this Option is Off, the rectangular area bound by the two markers is copied to the Clipboard.

Illustrating the "Select Across Lines" Option
For example, consider the screenshot above: when the Select Across Lines option is On, the copied text is:
Do NOT simply read the instructions in here without understanding # what they do.
When this Option is turned Off, the copied text is:
Do NOT simply what they do.
It's also possible to add the current selection to the current contents of the Clipboard, using the Append action. This will append the contents of the current selection to the existing text in the Clipboard.
| Pasting Text | (Back to Top) |
Use the Paste action to paste the contents of the Clipboard into the current Terminal session. The contents will be pasted at the current cursor location. By default, a Upper-Left Corner Double-Tap can be used to execute the Paste action.
Note that you can also use E-Mail actions to send the Clipboard contents in an E-Mail using the Mail application.
