Use two fingers at once to display the selection markers, which can then be dragged and easily adjusted to exactly the position you'd like. A quick "flash" indicates when your selection has been copied to the clipboard. Then, use any configurable gesture to paste the clipboard contents back at the cursor location. The selection marks can also be placed using gestures, making it easy to select text that spans more than a screen. TT Pro even includes a right-hand vs. left-hand configuration mode, which tailors the location of the popup zoom view to your handedness.
